Sign up to make this kitty doll with Pamala -February 26th from 10AM to 4PM. The instructions include directions to make different wool jackets for different seasons. She is currently wearing her Spring jacket. We won't have the pattern available to sell separately, so if you want to make it, please call & sign up for the class.

We Won!

We won a best booth award at Road to California! We were soooo excited! It makes all the hard work worth it. A special thank you to the judges from Road to California.  Lots of credit goes to Beth & Cindy who make setting up the booth look so easy, but we all know its alot of work.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at Road. We always have a great time seeing everyone. The Monday after Road, Debbie from Wooden Spool Designs taught a class at the store. Once again, we had such a good time. There were 3 fun projects made from wool. I will show you 2 that I was able to finish in class. We hope to make this an annual event at the store. The pumpkin and acorn are new patterns that Debbie will debut this Spring. How lucky we were to be able to make them ahead of the pattern release. Thanks Debbie!

We have lots going on in the store. Lots of kits, lots of new classes, and more to come...Here is a little preview, but you will want to come in to the store to see what else we have going on.

Suzanne is teaching the Pinwheel Star. She has taken the pattern and made a cute tablerunner from a pack of our pre-cut charm squares. The tablerunner is done in Easter fabrics, but would look good in any fabrics. What an awesome gift for someone. This is a really great class & you learn how to do inset seams. The pattern for the class is for a full-size quilt, so once you learn the technique, you can keep on making blocks.

Pictures From Road, a Special Guest Preview & a Birthday!

Road to California has started off with a bang! We have been having so much fun seeing all of our customers & we have enjoyed all of the new people we have met! If you haven't had a chance to come by, there is still time! The show is open today from 9:30AM to 6PM and Sunday from 10AM to 4PM! We have sold out of alot of kits, but don't worry, we still have plenty more left.

And the best part of today - we are celebrating a birthday!! This person is someone who I am so blessed to have in my life. She has been a great friend and I love working with her at the shop. She truly adds to the lives of the people she knows. I know that all of the staff and customers at the shop would agree! I will give you a hint - her name is Beth! If you needed ONE more reason to stop by and say hi - then this is it. Come say Happy Birthday. We have a great day of surprises planned for her :)

Road to California & a Guest Teacher & a Fat Quarter Sale!

It's finally here! Road to California! Visit our booth at the Ontario Convention Center - we have 50 or more NEW samples and kits! You won't see some of these kits or samples at the store, so come see them at Road. We also have a special friend working in our booth, come see who it is. You have 4 days of shopping fun - Thursday the 20th thru Sunday the 23rd!

We are delighted to have Debbie from Wooden Spool Designs back again to teach a fun wool workshop. She will be in the store teaching on Monday the 24th from 10AM - 2PM. She will be teaching a wool pumpkin, acorn pincushion and a needle keep. Your class fee of $40 includes ALL the supplies needed to make all three items. You only need to bring scissors and pins. Call the store to inquire about openings and to reserve a space. WE only had a few left.

In honor of SEVERAL birthdays around the shop - I won't mention names, we are having a FAT QUARTER SALE! Buy 25 or more pre-cut fat quarters and receive them for 50% off, or $1.25 each. This is a great way to build up your stash with some great fabrics. We also have some fun fat quarter patterns that we can show you. The sale runs from January 20th - January 24th.

Santa Claus is coming to town...

Saturday, December 4th - Pamala will be teaching this adorable Santa doll class, from 10AM to 4PM. You can have him done, just in time for Christmas. Call or come in to sign up.

Support Breast Cancer Research...

We are honored to have been asked by Brighton Collectibles located in the Galleria at Tyler Mall, to design a raffle quilt for Breast Cancer Month. This is our second year & we really hope you will join us in supporting a great cause. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to LACE (Ladies Awareness for Cancer Education), a local charity that provides education & support for cancer patients. Visit Brighton in the Galleria at Tyler Mall in Riverside during the month of October to purchase a ticket and show your support.
