Today & Everyday...

We had so much fun seeing all of the "runners" during the Southern California Quilt Run. If you visited our store, then you know that we were paying a special tribute to the troops who are serving our Country. You may have heard a few "I don't know if you knew, someone's wearing red, white & blue!" They were treated to a give away. The quilt run is over, but our Tribute to the Troops is NOT! Come in to the store for details on how you can particpiate in our effort to collect items for care packages that will be sent to the troops. Your donations will earn you a 20% off coupon, to be used on your total purchase in the month of August 2012.

We just received Funky Fall from Clothworks. I personally want a bolt of the fabric with the crows on it. You will also want to come in and see out trunk show from Button Willow Designs. These patterns were very popular during the run.


Lisa from Primitive Gatherings is coming to teach at the store. She will be here July 30th, from 10-4PM, teaching the Saltbox mat. What a great chance to learn how to work with wool. We will have door prizes, food and lots of fun! Call the store for details and to sign up. Space will be limited.




These 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" rulers just arrived! They are the perfect size for your sewing basket.


We have lots of red, white & blue fabrics! Come on in and get inspired by some of the great patriotic kits and projects we have. We even have some great patriotic music playing, but don't be alarmed if the staff pauses to salute the flag when the Star Bangled Banner starts playing.

Quilt Run started yesterday.

Coming Home for the Holidays

Coming Home for the Holidays is a new block of the month starting in June. This quilt was designed by Lisa of Primitve Gatherings and features her new line of fabric from MODA, called Seasonal Gatherings. The quilt has pieced blocks and wool applique. Keep Calm...

I just love all of the "Keep Calm" signs, but this one is definitely a favorite!

Quilter's Carryall Class

This Quilter's Carryall is a must have for quilters. It can hold your mat, a 6 1/2" x 18" ruler, plus supplies. You can make one of your own in the class taught by Pamala, on May 26th from 10am to 4pm. The class fee is $20 plus pattern and supplies. We hope you can join us!

 

Farmers Market

Farmer's Market is a new block-of-the-month starting in May. It features the MODA fabric line, also named Farmer's Market. You can choose the color of the cherry border fabric. The sample was done in black, but other choices include green, yellow, purple, red or beige. We have fabric samples in the store. Come on down and pick your favorite.
