OPERATION SHOWER FOR MILITARY WIVES

Please join us Saturday, April 5th at the shop as we sew baby quilts for Military wives. We are donating them to Operation Shower, an organization that supports military wives, whose husbands are deployed. For more information on the organization, please visit www.operationshower.org.

We will provide the patterns to the quilts that you see pictured to anyone who comes to sew with us. Each of the patterns are designed for you to use your stash, along with some background fabric. All quilts must be made from quilt store quality fabrics. We have a limited number of kits available that are free if you sew at the shop. The kits do not include background fabrics. We need quilts for boys and girls and they do not have to be made out of patriotic fabrics. We will be doing potluck - call the shop to let us know you are coming 951-737-3959.

If you aren't available to sew there are other items that they need that can be dropped off at the shop:

socks, onesies, baby outfits, hats, burp cloths, bibs, wipes, diapers, baby books, small toys, rattles, teethers, hooded towels, wash cloths, bath toys, pajamas, diaper cream

Spring Fling Starts Today

Get out the rain and come visit the 8 participating quilt stores. Receive a free Michael Miller fat quarter and a free pattern at each store you visit. Your passport enters you in an individual store drawing at each one you visit and a completed passport enters you in the grand prize drawing

The run is today thru Saturday. Each store is open 9AM to 6PM.

WOOL CLUB

There is still time to join WOOL CLUB! Each month features a pattern for a monthly calendar wool project that fits in to a picture frame. This month the ladies worked on March. As a special bonus, with the club membership you will receive a...n originally designed Christmas Ornament kit to make. Isn't the gingerbread adorable. Your membership will also include a printed calendar that will fit in the other frame. Each month you are only required to purchase the $6.00 pattern. You are free to use up your wool stash, or we will have a limited number of kits available. We will also carry the wood frames. Wool club is taught by Pamala and meets the 2nd Monday of each month. You do not have to come to the club meetings in order to join Wool Club.

 

Our new favorite bag

This bag is awesome! It opens up with plastic sleeves that are perfect for holding your sewing supplies, make-up, travel items, etc... The pattern includes the plastic sleeves, plus we have extra sets of sleeves because you will want to make several. What a great gift idea.
