New classes added to schedule

Two new classes have been added to the schedule. Make this Girly Girl Gym bag for yourself or as a gift. It would make a great travel tote, diaper bag,...Pamala will be teaching this class June 5th and July 3rd. Pick the date that works best for you and sign up. Her classes fill up fast, so don't hesitate.

 The other class is a Flag Tumbler Quilt - Just in time for Memorial day, this quilt goes together quickly. The quilt is 80" x 80". This class is Saturday, May 17th.  Kits are available for the tumbler quilt.

 



These dolls are so cute!

Pamala's doll class still has a few spots available. We each made a doll to show you how adorable they are when you customize them. Don't forget that Pamala will embroider your face so that you can get sewing right away. This saves so much time! Sign up early so Pamala can get your face ready. I can't wait to give my doll to my niece :)

Pamala will be teaching a doll class on Saturday, May 24th. This 18" doll comes with some adorable patterns for clothing. We weren't that excited about the dolls face, so Pamala found a really cute face that she can make on her embroidery machine, which means your class fee includes a face that is already embroidered. Sign up as early as possible and talk to Pamala about the fabric you want to use for your doll's body-you get to pick the eye color. Make this doll for that special someone and add a matching dress for them. What a perfect gift!

Join Erin as she teaches you how to make this adorable, interactive doll quilt. What little girl wouldn't love to play with this? Little stuffed figures that actually detach, the clothes are also interchangeable on some of the blocks. So much fun! If you don't want to make the whole quilt- how about one or two blocks as a wall hanging or pillow.

There are 3 sessions- come to one or to all. The choice is yours. Each session is $20.00. June 6th, June 13th and June 14th. The class sizes are limited because of the one on one attention that is needed, so sign up early.

Operation Shower

We are hosting another Charity sew day for Operation Shower on Saturday, May 10th. What a wonderful way to honor Mother's Day, by sewing a quilt for a mother-to-be. See more info on our post from March 28th. We still have free kits available for those that join us. Or bring your scraps from your stash. The ladies on Saturday made some cute quilts.
We will have a fun day filled with games and prizes, fellowship and of course lots of food from potluck.

Polka dots

We have some fun new polka dots! There are more colors than what is shown. Come down to the shop and take a peek. You can do so many things with them- like the adorable tumbler quilt pictured. We have the tumbler templates in stock for this quilt that is quick to cut and sew together.

 

April showers continues to be a popular line. Here's a cute little pillow kit that is going fast!

 

Another beginner quilt class starts Tuesday, April 29th. This will be a daytime class-10am to 2pm. If you are interested in evenings, please call the store and leave your name. We will form a class when we have enough interest.

 

This quilt is a technique class showing you how to use Spinning Star papers. The class is April 17th from 10am to 2pm. There are still spots available.Can't wait to see you in the shop!
