Out with the old! It took a lot to finally get it all moved. In with the new! Come see what's behind the closed door.
It seems like forever, but we are excited to open our doors tomorrow, February 26th. We thank you for your patience. Who knew we had so much stuff? We could not accomplished this move without the help of some great friends. Thank you!!
Change is not always easy. There may be some hiccups along the way. We are working really hard though, because we value our customers and want them to be satisfied. We really appreciate those of you that have already given us your support and positive feedback. It really means a lot to us.
Although we tried to anticipate questions that everyone would ask, I know we missed the mark. For that, I apologize. If you asked a question that didn't get answered, or if we appeared annoyed, or non-committal, just know that it was not on purpose. It has been an overwhelming process with little time to adjust. With that said, I will try to answer some of the frequently asked questions, as honestly as I can.
WHY ARE YOU MOVING? - a business decision based on lots of factors, including lowering overhead costs. It was not an easy decision. After realizing that our current lease ended in January, not June as as in previous years, I had to scramble to decide what to do. I would not have closed the shop the last week in December and painted, had I known we would be moving. That was a big chore that took lots of wo-man hours. I signed a new lease on January 30th with the understanding that I would be out of the old space by February 15th. Yikes!
WILL YOU STILL CARRY FABRIC ON THE BOLT? Yes! And hopefully with your continued support, we can bring in new fresh lines that our customers love. Give us time to stock up.
WHY DID YOU REDUCE YOUR HOURS? Again, a business decision to reduce overhead costs. In addition, I still work full-time outside of the store at a job requiring more than 40 hours a week. I am so thankful for the girls that have worked at the shop during the week while I'm at work. They are the faces that you see and they have been awesome! But working at the shop after hours and almost every weekend for the past 8 years has taken its toll on me and my family. I look forward to having more time to bring you fresh ideas, original patterns, online shopping capabilities, and much more.
WILL YOU HAVE CLASSES? We are working on getting electrical outlets installed in the rear of the shop, where the classroom would be. In the meantime, Pamala will still have Stitching Society on the first Thursday of the month and Wool Club on the third Thursday of the month. The new session of wool club starts in April. Stitching Society for March has been moved to the third Thursday, March 19th for this month only.
SPRING FLING- we are still participating in Spring Fling, March 5th-March 7th from 9AM to 6PM. You won't want to miss it. Each shop is handing out a free fat quarter from the Benartex line French Quarter. This year you are eligible for a grand prize of 21 yards of fabric and a Baby Lock sewing and embroidery machine. Bring a can of unexpired food to receive a 20% off coupon good in the month of May.
HOW FAR IS THE NEW SHOP FROM THE OLD SHOP? Exactly 5.7 miles. Take the 91 West to the Maple/6th Street exit. Turn right to the first stoplight, Pomona Road. Turn right on Pomona. We are in the center on the left hand side. Turn left in to the first driveway. We are on the right hand side in Suite C. We are very close once you exit the freeway.
1869 Pomona Road, Suite C, Corona, CA 92880
We have lots of merchandise that we still need to move because we are out of room. All patterns, books, assorted notions and clearance fabric are 50% off right now.
We look forward to seeing you. Thank you again for your continued support!
